He has worked on numerous commercials for brands such as Bank of America, Nike, Heineken Beer and Powerball. In 2000, Joe guest starred on three episodes of the NBC sitcom Jesse starring Christina Applegate. In 2019, he was cast as Mr. Desmond on the Lifetime movie series Crazy Love, Social Media Meltdown. In 2020, he was cast as Detective Jarvis in the Critics' Choice nominated show Betrayed.
